Treat others properly
MONDAY by ARCH
A good working environment starts with you, so if you correctly read this it will start with you. In many cases, we think that the workplace is not the proper one since it is a place where no professional growth exists, or we just complain about something because it is part of our daily routine.
However, you have to ask yourself the following question: Are you taking time and efforts to change your workplace into a friendly place where professional development may exist? This is the time where you actually become the change factor. There are many small actions that provide you with more comfortability for both you and your workmates.
You can start doing basic things like saying hello to all of the people you see every morning. It is not necessary to hug them or ask how they are doing. You can simply say “good morning” or say good bye to them, and maybe you can find a new friend on the road.
If you want to take the next step to improve your working environment, you can start being empathetic with other people’s actions. You can provide help to others with some pending project they have, or give a constructive opinion to help improving something. Remember that team work is something for everybody but it will start with you.
It is time for you to take the next step towards healthier, funnier and mainly respectful professional relationships.
